This Friday, October 21, brings the return of Kate Reid and Bruce Forman to the California Jazz Arts Society!
It’s been two years since Kate has performed for our little venue. She is now associate professor of jazz voice, and program director for Jazz Vocal Performance, at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She doesn’t get back too often, and we are proud that she chose the CalJAS House Concert Series during this short trip to L.A.
Kate once again teams up with guitarist extrordinaire Bruce Forman. The duo last performed for us in November, 2014.
We have a few seats left so reserve today….YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS THIS!!
On Thursday, September 29, the California Jazz Arts Society had the privilege of performing for Assistance League of Pomona Valley’s fundraiser for children’s clothing at the beautiful Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont.
Hosted by CalJAS President Dale Boatman, the CalJAS All-Stars featured guest vocalist Debbi Ebert and the fabulous Joe Bagg, Bruce Forman, Glenn Cashman, Dave Tull, and Ken Wild. Good friend and Magic Castle magician Jon Armstrong amazed arriving guests before the concert.
